You will learn how to take Moulds of babies hands and feet, Pour, Paint and more!
We will discuss the business side of things, what works and what doesn’t for us so may for you, how to start your own Facebook business and instagram pages.
This is intended to be a 1:1 casting course with a baby & other models provided throughout the course. Before your training day we will arrange to have a chat over zoom and get to know each other and talk about what you would like to gain from the day, if there’s area’s in particular you would like to practice so we can get straight into the fun of making casts.
No course training booking is confirmed without a deposit or full amount paid.

Description
NEW to Baby Casting Co.
Would you like to start your own baby casting business, creating babies hands and feet and displaying them for new parents? Then look no further! Our founder Gemma has had over 11 years in the business and has now gained the confidence over the past year from teaching her silicone moulding method to train individuals in how you can do the full process too and make a living.
In this course you will learn the following:
- How to take the moulds from babies Hands and Feet (wriggly baby? No Problem!)
- How to pour the finished moulds
- Prepping, sealing and sanding
- Painting (multiple choices)
- Framing/Displaying the finished casts.
As well as everything in between.
This course is intended to be a 1:1 in person for one person and you will need to Travel to our studio, this is a one day course.
A Model will be provided on the day for you but you will also be practising with a baby model doll to perfect your moulds.
Do I receive anything on the day?
On the day you will receive a some equipment which contains:
- Small 8×8 frame (your choice of Colour from Black, White or Silver )
- Small tester pots of paints
- Small pots of our Sealant.
- Small bag of Aliginate.
- Small bag of Casting Stone.
You can purchase a Kit from us that will contain all the things needed to set you up if you prefer.
Create special family keepsakes with our casting course.
On the day we will discuss all the issues you may run into such as air bubbles or breakages if the frames get dropped in the future.
Don’t think a day is long enough? you can add extra days for an extra cost as we know people learn at different paces or like to make extra sure they have the skills they need.
Follow ups can be arranged over video call for further guidance when creating the keepsakes yourself at home.
